Southwestern Pennsylvania is critical to
efforts to get HB300, the State non-discrimination bill passed. It all comes down to our area and we
need meetings with targeted legislators to help them understand why this bill
is needed and to offer education that counteracts the misinformation and
distortions being spread about the bill. Here’s how you can help! Review the
list below and see if you live in an area where your legislator is a critical
person to meet with. Then, if you are willing to meet with them and also want a
mentor to attend with you to help you feel confident at the meeting, and to also
provide you with an info packet to take, contact Erika Fricke at efricke@pahouse.net
. We will walk you through the
process from that point on. Also, please pass this information on to everyone
you know in case they can also help us find people willing to meet with
targeted legislators.
